Cristiano Ronaldo, serving as the captain of Al Nassr, has clinched the title of the best player for the month of August in the Saudi Pro League during the commencement of the 2023-2024 season.
Concurrently, Nuno Santo, the head coach of Al Ittihad, was honored as the Coach of the Month, while the accolade for the best goalkeeper in August was bestowed upon Marcelo Grohe, the Brazilian goalkeeper representing the club.
Additionally, Abdulmalik Al Oyayari, a player for Al Taawoun, secured the title of the Most Promising Player of the Month.
The announcements of these four esteemed awards were made by the league’s technical committee. Notably, this season, the selection process for the monthly award winners incorporated public voting as a component in the final decision-making.
The league’s technical committee comprises five members: Turki Al-Sultan, Sultan Al-Luhayyani, Khalid Al-Shenaif, Manaf Aboshgair, and Obaid Alessi.
Cristiano Ronaldo Al Nassr Journey so far
Cristiano Ronaldo is widely recognized as one of the most prolific goal-scorers in global football, and his reputation has only been solidified since he joined the Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr FC.
This Portuguese football sensation made his move to Al Nassr in January of this year, securing the title of the world’s highest-paid athlete in the process.
Upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo netted his inaugural goal in a friendly match against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) while representing a team that included players from both Al Nassr FC and Al Hilal SFC.
In the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut with Al Nassr, helping secure a 1-0 victory over Al-Ettifaq. He registered his first goal in a draw against Al-Fateh before achieving his first hat-trick for Al Nassr in a commanding 4-0 triumph over Al Wehad. The Portuguese star repeated this feat, scoring another hat-trick in a 3-0 win against Damac.
Recognizing his outstanding performance, Cristiano Ronaldo was honored with the Saudi Pro League Player of the Month award for February after scoring eight goals and providing two assists.
To date, Cristiano Ronaldo has impressively tallied 20 goals in 20 appearances for Al Nassr FC in the Saudi Pro League. Overall, he has amassed 26 goals in 30 games for the Riyadh-based team.
Two of these crucial goals resulted in a significant achievement for the team. Al Nassr clinched their first Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023, largely thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace in the final against their rivals, Al Hilal.
Here’s a summary of Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal-scoring achievements for Al Nassr:

Since then, he has represented Manchester United (2006-09 and 2021-22), Real Madrid (2009-18), Juventus (2018-21), and now Al Nassr FC.
