Coronavirus Vaccine update by WHO and hope for a vaccine soon. The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom, revealed on, Tuesday, the expected date for the emergence of an official vaccine against the emerging coronavirus.

He explained during a speech he gave at the end of the organization’s executive council meeting that the vaccine may be ready by the end of this year. Without disclosing further details related to the producing authorities or how countries obtain it.
He said that there is an urgent need for anti-virus vaccines, indicating that there are efforts to obtain them before the end of this year.
It is reported that the organization adopts the global Covax initiative, which aims to distribute 2 billion doses of Corona vaccines by the end of 2021, as this initiative includes 9 experimental vaccines in the process of preparation, some of which have reached advanced stages at the level of clinical tests.
