This came in a circular addressed by the Director-General of the Department for Hajj and Umrah, Secretary of the Hajj and Umrah Preparatory Committees, Sri Asiri, to the heads of the Hajj preparatory committees, directors of health affairs, and the executive heads of health gatherings.
In the circular, Asiri called for requiring those wishing to participate in the Hajj season to receive the vaccine, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, to prepare early to secure the manpower required to operate the facilities in the holy sites, Makkah and Madinah, and the entry points for pilgrims.
