It has been explained that entry includes holders of electronic visas, who are eligible to obtain visas upon arrival, and citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Furthermore, passengers with valid eVisa, diplomats, military personnel, airline crew, and officials can enter Bahrain.

Bahrain authorities indicated that the arrivals will undergo a coronavirus scan at their own expense. This test is known as the PCR test of COVID-19. Travelers will also have to self-isolate until the results are found negative.

Visas on arrival also reopened but for citizens of eligible countries. Please visit http://evisa.gov.bh
