Airspace approval for flights by Saudi Arabia on UAE Request
On Wednesday 2nd September 2020, the General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the approval of the UAE’s request to allow the passage of the Kingdom’s airspace for flights coming to and departing from the United Arab Emirates to all countries.
An official source at the General Civil Aviation Authority stated that the authority’s approval was issued to the request received from the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the United Arab Emirates, which includes the desire to allow the passage of the Kingdom’s airspace for flights coming to and departing from the United Arab Emirates to all countries.
