Mecca saw over 2,000 violations, leading to the closure of 280 facilities operating without the required licenses. In parallel, inspections in Medina uncovered 1,200 violations, prompting the closure of 50 hospitality facilities until proper licenses are obtained.

Under the banner of “our guests are a priority,” the Ministry of Tourism is actively pursuing inspection campaigns to regulate the sector and enhance service quality. Emphasizing the importance of compliance with regulations and quality standards, the ministry aims to ensure a seamless experience for tourists visiting these sacred sites.
