118 facilities closed by Riyadh Municipality for violating precautionary measures on Tuesday, as per the update on 9th February 2021. These actions were taken against the violators to make sure precautionary measures are followed and preventing coronavirus spread. More details below.
118 facilities closed by Riyadh Municipality for violating precautionary measures
The Municipality’s observers carried out about 5,000 monitoring rounds during the past 24 hours, which included various commercial activities during which they monitored nearly 660 violations. This includes gatherings exceeding the permissible numbers, failure to use a temperature detection (thermometer), negligence in wearing a mask and not putting instructions, in addition to the absence of preventive equipment or PPE.
The Secretariat stressed the need to adhere to the directives by everyone, confirming the continuation of its daily monitoring rounds, and its application of statutory sanctions on all establishments that violate health controls and requirements.
